In this section, I’ve combined all of my Creative Directing work into one place. These projects include key visuals that I’ve designed or directed for some of Africa’s leading streaming channels, along with the full campaign rollouts that followed. This includes building out character cards, countdowns, promos, and other supporting assets that shape each show’s visual identity. While many pieces were created using traditional Photoshop and motion graphics techniques, the rise of AI in the creative field has expanded how we approach and visualise these elements. Blending both traditional craft and AI-driven workflows has allowed us to deliver fresher, more dynamic solutions for clients.

MMP SHANGA S2

Shanga Season 2 is a Kenyan drama series that continues the emotional and complex storylines introduced in its first season. Premiering in April 2025 on DStv and GOtv, the new season brings back key characters, including Musumbi, and dives deeper into family tensions, secrets, and personal revelations. The season explores Shanga’s journey as her fatherhood is finally acknowledged, relationships are tested, and characters face life-changing decisions. With dramatic twists, including betrayals and even a faked death in the finale, Shanga S2 delivers high-stakes storytelling that keeps viewers hooked throughout.
PMP CROSSROADS S2

Crossroads Season 2 is a Ugandan drama series on Pearl Magic Prime that follows intense personal and professional conflicts within the media world. The season builds toward a dramatic finale where Kwezi, Abby, and McKenzie unite to confront the villain Ezra, while Sasha’s mystery continues to unfold. Filled with tension, intrigue, and high-stakes turns, the season kept viewers hooked through its October 2025 conclusion.
MM KOKOTA

Set in bustling Mamelodi, Soweto, Johannesburg, Kokota is an Amapiano drama about dreams that demand to be followed, no matter the cost.
MM MAGAENG

Magaeng is a South African dramedy on Mzansi Magic that follows Zama Ndaba, a bold and ambitious woman forced into witness protection with her family. Living under new identities in a small rural town, they must hide their criminal past while navigating danger, secrecy, and the
pressure to “blend in or be killed.” The show mixes suspense, humour, and family drama as Zama chases fame on a reality show while
trying to keep her family safe.
MW FAKISPICE

For the Faki Spice show lineup, we created a lively promotional campaign for Mzansi Wethu that captured the channel’s bold, high-energy identity. Inspired by the idea of “adding spice,” we designed and animated a series of fun, vibrant visuals that showcased the hottest local shows on the channel. The goal was to package the lineup in a way that felt exciting, colourful, and full of personality, reflecting the spirit behind the “Fak’iSpice” message and giving viewers a taste of the entertainment they could expect.

Damalie is a Ugandan drama series on Pearl Magic Prime that follows a woman forced to hide a web of secrets after her husband unexpectedly returns home. As lies build and betrayals surface, Damalie fights to keep her life from unravelling. The show delivers intrigue, tension, and emotional drama, airing weekdays on DStv and GOtv.
Joburg Film Festival

We created a short teaser film for the Joburg Film Festival designed to spark excitement and drive ticket sales. By blending AI-generated visuals with 3D imagery, we crafted a dynamic, atmospheric piece that captured the spirit of the festival and hinted at the stories waiting to be discovered. The film served as a bold, modern introduction to the event, using innovative visuals to draw audiences in.
MM HOW TO MANIFEST A MAN

Season 2 follows Dudu as she returns from a retreat appearing transformed, but secretly driven by revenge. After losing her husband, status, and control, she turns to dark manifestation to manipulate events and win her ex-husband back. The season dives into deceit, obsession, and Dudu’s escalating plan to get even with everyone who wronged her.

in on the truth. With murder, hidden motives, and shifting alliances, the series delivers constant twists and high-stakes drama.
DSTV SOFT LIFE

For the DStv Soft Life campaign, I used AI as a core part of the creative process. I built consistent visual scenes using Krea and then used Weavy to generate video stings that matched the campaign’s tone and style. These AI generated elements were composited together into short on air assets that brought the Soft Life concept to life in a fresh, modern and highly efficient way.

Imboni Yama Tekisi is a South African reality show on Mzansi Magic that follows the lives of taxi bosses as they navigate the dangers and complexities of the taxi industry. The series highlights their family dynamics, rivalries, business pressures, and the risks they face daily, offering a raw and personal look into a high-stakes, often volatile world.

Icala is a South African comedy-drama on Mzansi Magic that follows MaShandu, a devoted wife whose world shatters when her husband confesses he fathered a child with her best friend. After he survives what he thought was his deathbed, MaShandu chooses revenge over forgiveness, setting a darkly humorous and dramatic plan in motion against both of them.
GREAT AFRICAN CRIMES

Great African Crimes with Mandy Wiener is a documentary series that unpacks some of South Africa’s most fascinating historical crimes. Hosted by investigative journalist Mandy Wiener, the show revisits cases like the Kruger Tunnel bank robbery, the shooting of Sea Cottage, and the crimes of serial killer Daisy de Melker. Through research, interviews, and on-site investigations, the series brings forgotten stories back to life and explores the deeper context behind each crime.
MM HA MOLEFI

Ha Molefi is a South African drama about a grieving father and his queer teenage son as they try to rebuild their relationship after the loss of their wife and mother. Set in Pimville, Soweto, the story follows Thabang, a gifted dancer preparing for a major Vogue/Ballroom competition in his mother’s honour, and Ntate Molefi, who must learn to truly understand and support his son. It’s an emotional journey of love, identity, and healing.

I used my design and motion graphics experience to bring the BBC Planet Earth event screens to life. Working with the images provided by the client, I created fun, interactive visual displays that added energy to the environment and helped the content feel engaging and dynamic for the audience.

Access Monate is a fun, energetic show-lineup promo created for Mzansi Wethu, built around the idea of “main character energy.” The campaign highlighted a selection of bold and entertaining new shows premiering that week, using lively visuals and confident messaging to invite viewers to tune in and enjoy the spotlight-worthy stories hitting their screens.
